Thomas Hinterleithner, MSc, specializes in mobile, online and direct marketing as well as CRM and loyalty marketing. He studied information and communication technology at the Technical University of Vienna and the University of Cologne with an emphasis on biomechanics and sports. He gained parallel experience working in database development and sales at IBM. After his studies, he was active as key account and sales manager for ICT suppliers before he became managing director with arvato-AZ Direct and a member of the management board of Bertelsmann Austria in 2000. As VP Sales & Business Development Europe, Hinterleithner focuses on mobile marketing, hyper-linking the real-world and the worldwide deployment of mobile barcode & NFC ecosystems.
